Why this matters
A briefing tells you what you are looking at; a Deep Dive tells you what to do about it. It decomposes the FOB, checks every line against historical patterns (never live prices), and turns the analysis into a plan you can walk into the room with — knowing what’s fair and why, before anyone starts talking. You run it only when you decide a costing is worth it.
